More Snow Photos

Last Friday, the snow on the branches, blue skies, and sunshine were short-lived, but there long enough to provide photo opportunities.

Crazy Shadows

Icicles hanging from the grain bin…

Hay rake tines give shadows that remind me of the Etch-a-Sketch toy I had when I was a kid.  I never could make the lines look like anything recognizable.

Frosted Bales

I think they resemble frosted shredded wheat, but you’d need a mighty big cereal bowl for these!

New Snow

Yesterday morning the world was coated with new-fallen cottony snow.  I took these photos early, before the glare of full daylight.

In Flight

I spotted one of the eagles again this morning, but it quickly took flight to avoid another close-up photograph.

Today is cloudy and drab, so I searched last summer’s photo file to find something colorful. 

Its a coneflower, spruced up with a touch of dry brush and sandstone effects.
