I've been looking through a
photo file from a couple autumns ago.
Until further notice I'll blog some of those photos,
hopefully not ones I've already posted.

This drive-by was taken in __________ _____, Iowa.

The strawberries symbolize the name of the town.

Colorwise, this is my favorite photo from the trip...

Below is the original photo.  It was taken early in the morning meaning not enough sunlight was there to illuminate the colors of the leaves.  That's why I brightened the above photo a bit to make it look better on the blog.  Obviously, it also received some cropping.

In Wisconsin, my husband and I enjoyed seeing landscapes
different from what we see everyday here around home.

These scenes make me think of that old quote:
"There's gold in them thar hills."

There's also orange, red, and green.
Plus the gold of ripening soybean and corn fields.

I was able to get a few drive-by shots of old barns, too.
Here is one of them...

Yesterday, my husband and I attended the World Dairy Expo
 in Madison, Wisconsin.
While there, I looked for photo ops such as these...

Today, before heading for home, we enjoyed autumn colors
along the roadways north and west of Madison.
The trees around home here are not very colorful yet.
I snapped many drive-by photos, and
some of them will be on the blog in the near future.
