Last Saturday evening, while Hurricane Ike was battering parts of the Gulf Coast of the U.S., we here in Iowa were treated to a spectacular cloud show around the time of sunset!

  9. Your photo of the sky this week reminds me of the sky over Mt. Sinai in Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments! Fiery!

  10. Lovely skies, Jeannelle, and a lovely Sky Watch. Ike didn't bring us any pretty skies, but did scare up a few tornados (one touched down about 8 miles north of me) and bluster, blow and rain like crazy. I was glad to see blue skies today.
