Here was the scene over the cornfield two mornings ago.........over on the right there is a bright spot which looked similar to the "sundogs" we sometimes see on very cold, sunny winter mornings. This one is a "September Sundog", I guess! Maybe it was the "dog" from the famous Mother Goose rhyme :

The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon (see photo below).
The little "sundog" laughed to see such a sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon!"

Its a "MOON" made out of clouds.......and, hovering over the cornfield.
