Blue, green, black, brown......the colors of spring on the farm:
We had several inches of rain on Sunday, causing the drainage ditch to run like a river!

Your pictures are great as always. We haven't been able to load the software for the camera on this new computer for some reason. sigh..it's always something. My camera days seem over for now at least. We were thinking of buying a new camera anyway...craigslist usually has tons at cheap prices. I just love the meadowlark. I don't think I've ever seen one here unfortunately, but I used to see them in Michigan. One of the cats killed a bluebird of indigo bunting. It was under the table. I have to check the book, reddish breast and dark blue body, small bird, sharp beak. I get so mad when they kill my prettiest birds!

Oh, I hate it, too, when our cats kill a nice songbird. A couple years ago I happened to see one of our cats devouring a reddish bird, probably cardinal....I was heartsick. :(
