It seems the leaves were changing quickly. Now it appears they have slowed down. I bet we lose them all at once. I love the change of seasons, but I do not like what is coming.
We have very little color here, as yet. It was over 80 degrees today in most of the state and parts of it (far north of me) are currently under a tornado watch. It's not a good thing for it to be hot this late in the year.
I am ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteI love fall...so crisp the air and the colors so beautiful..I just don't like where it leads...winter!

ReplyDeleteFarm Wife,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering, when a leaf falls, do the others still there miss it?
Those are very bright red leaves. Jack Frost has been busy in your neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteI hope to be so gracious when I reach my own demise.
ReplyDelete*sigh* One of the things I really miss about living in Texas is the vibrant colors of a Midwest Fall.
ReplyDeleteNice picture. Thoughtful poem.
