Many years ago, I dug up this lily from my grandmother’s back yard…..
Its dark color prevents this lily from ever being very conspicuous. The photo here, however, shows how a bit of flaming sunset glow can transform a flower’s personality to almost flamboyant.
It looks very tropical in color. Pretty!
