Can you guess what I’m wishing for?
A big blustery blast of November wind to blow these leaves to kingdom come! Shouldn’t be too much to ask for since I recently read somewhere that the old Saxon name for November is “Windmonath”, which means “wind month”!
Lovely fall photo!
ReplyDeleteI was tasting pumpkin pie!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeannelle, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your kind comment! I am glad you led me to your own blog! I have enjoyed looking through your posts. Your photos are wonderful. The farmland setting certainly provides some good subject matter!
ReplyDeleteRegarding empty nest syndrome: It has hit me hard, particularly because two of my three children live on the other side of the country and I don't get to see them often. Blogging, as well as full time work, does keep me busy!
Best regards, Deborah
Pumpkin Pie would be my guess as to what you were wishing for.... the second would be for someone else to rake the leaves, lol.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea....i would need a tornado!!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of this photograph. And I loved the post earlier of the pumpkin with the curly ques- I try to keep those too.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos.
ReplyDeleteBe careful what you wish for. The wind is coming, I'm afraid, along with freezing rain and heavy, wet snow, for many of us here in Iowa.
Hopefully you're in a part of the state that will miss the worst of the ugliness.
I've enjoyed wandering around your blog, admiring your wonderful photos.
I really like this capture!
