The day before yesterday my husband and I enjoyed a typical farmer’s getaway---driving to a farm store to pick up machinery parts. Here and there along the way, we saw weeping willow trees dressed in their distinctive green of early spring:
Early spring here, makes me worry just a bit about the summer.
I love what I call the "baby" green color popping out.
I also love watching for "spring green". It is happening in my part of the world, too!
That is a true farmer's getaway. It looks just about like my place. Those willows really do stand out right now.
The willows here still look like dead sticks! I miss those quick trips with my hubby when he runs for parts or to look at equipment etc. Sigh!
Oh, I just love that undeniable spring color that willows take on! Thanks for sharing that Iowa sky too.
Thank you for leaving a comment! I don't usually reply to comments though I might answer a question.
