The middle section of the back appears to be patched in like perhaps a wide opening was once there. I've not seen many without at least one window or door on evey side---this is unusual to me. It's cool though--has character for sure!:>)

You're right-a bit of an old mystery, isn't it? Wonder what the barn/building was(maybe still is) used for? Looks like it's still serving a purpose--making us curious, if nothing else!
