I almost deemed this photo unusable because it was shot into the sunlight and the shadows were very dark. Then before hitting the delete button I decided to dink around with it in Picture It and was happy with the results. I could also then identify the bird as a Song Sparrow.

ReplyDeleteI recently set up a photo file for those photos which don't go into the "best of the best" file but I just can't bear to 'delete'.....this is the file I go to when I want to experiment with my editing software...and it is amazing what wonderful art is created out of a photo that at one point in time we would not have given a chance. Lovely edit.
ReplyDeleteI like it! Same thing happened with my antelope photo and I almost deleted it until I played around with it a bit.
ReplyDeleteI like it very much!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot. I'm so glad you decided to play with it instead of deleting it.
ReplyDeleteI like the end result here... nice processing!
ReplyDeleteIt's how you saw it at the moment, which makes it a unique capture Jeannelle. Thanks so much for sharing at Your Sunday Best this week. xo
