This is butterfly milkweed, purchased, not growing wild around here...

This is a mural on the wall of a building.  I snapped a shot of it as we drove by awhile back.  The shrubbery and flowers happened to be there, too.

I recently spied this wild carrot begiinning to bloom, 

also known as Queen Anne's Lace...   

Last evening the sunset illuminated thunderheads in the distance.  The moon was in view, too, and I didn't have the heart to crop it out of the scene.

Saw a butterfly this morning, one I'd never seen before.  I snapped several shots, finally getting a clear one...
