A zoomed photo from today...

I wasn't going to take anymore photos of the daffodils, but this morning's light seemed just right, not too bright to cause glare on the white petals.

I spent some time removing dirt specks in Photoshop and was pleased with the results.

Was out for a walk this afternoon 

and decided to zoom in on these far away trees...

The photo turned out a bit blurry.  Instead of hitting the delete button I tinkered around and tried to make the scene look like a painting.

Here's part of a drive-by photo I took today while on the way to get groceries...

I love the willow trees' green of spring.  It was nice to see the blue sky, too, as its been hiding behind gray clouds for the last several days.

Waves in a mud puddle...

     Gusty winds blew all day yesterday.  Rainstorms were roaming around here, too. It was the kind of day to watch a scary movie, which I did.  I also read a book for awhile, one which included a ship crossing the ocean.  After the rain stopped, I got the bright idea to try and take a photo of waves in a mud puddle.  Yeah, really goofy, I know, but out here on the farm no one can see me do such things, so who cares.  I tried to add a somewhat ocean-like color to the photo.

Rainclouds have fled for the time being.  

Now I get to see more of my favorite color combo, blue and green.

Here's another photo taken yesterday.  

Glimpses of spring green were catching my eye, 

plus the clouds were great.

I really like this photo which was taken today as storm clouds were moving in from one direction and the sky was still somewhat clear in the other direction.  Those circumstances provided for good lighting for this scene, at least that's my theory.    

If you click on the photo to enlarge it you will see that there's also a hint of green in those yonder trees.

The daffodils started blooming recently.  They never look nice for very long due to wind, rain, snow, cats, dogs, and cold nights.  

I took this photo this morning using the my camera's fish-eye effect and then removed dirt spots using Photoshop.

There's not much sign of spring around here.  There was a robin chirping this morning for the first time though I haven't seen him or her yet.

  

In honor of what is hopefully the end of a long winter, here is one of the last snowy scenes I photographed this season.

The weather is warming up a little providing a better chance to spend more time outdoors with the camera.  Melting snow is not very photogenic so I aimed the lens upwards...

This morning, thanks to the arrival of daylight savings time, I was up earlier and witnessed a gorgeous sunrise sky.

And, a couple of minutes or so after that, the colors were mostly gone.  So often, opportunities last for such a short time.

Am dusting off the blogging hobby again today.  Haven't taken many photos lately because its just too darn cold out, but here's one I snapped recently...
