More SkyWatch Touring

Sorry, folks.......today in my spare moments I'm surfing more SkyWatch posts. I'm planning to get to them all, even if it takes several days. Then I can at least say I've done that ONCE; though I probably won't do it again.......it simply takes too much time. But---wow---what a great way to see sights from other parts of the world, some in very remote places. I think I'm doing this blog listing mainly so I can eventually go back and explore these sites more:
*
Here's fascinating sights from India.......on a blog called Fugue.
*
*
(Guess what.........I just had a phone call from Sarah Palin! Yes.......that's right.......she was speaking to me right over the phone. It will be the highlight of my day, I'm sure.)
*
Click here to see the oldest wooden bridge in Europe......built in 1333! Oh, my goodness.......and please GO HERE to see the amazing murals that are inside the bridge!!
*
Want to see and learn about Serbia? Go HERE!
*
Here's a nice-looking blog from northern Virginia.
*
Scenes from Vienna, Austria!
*
Hey, this looks interesting: Pappy's Balderdash blog from way down in Texas.
*
Wander and meander with Ann from Australia.
*
Ah.....from southern France: Avignon in Photos blog!
*
Unique header on this blog, My Life Through A Lens.......excellent photos here, too.
*
I like the perspective shown in these photos from Mostly LA County blog.
*
Nature At My Doorstep : Beautiful scenes from British Columbia
*
Here's some lovely views from Michigan.
*
And, guess what.......a blog from Iowa!
*
*
*
*
Photoblog from Port Townsend, WA
*
Flower blog from Connecticut
*
Photoblog from a remote village in Malaysia
*
Photoblog from New Zealand
*
The Daily Photo Blogs are cool.....here's Long Island Daily Photo
*
Here is Subang Jaya Daily Photo blog, and if you scroll down on the right sidebar, there is a long list of Daily Photo Blogs from around the world!
*
Oh, go see this one.......gorgeous scenes from Athens, Greece.
*
Here is a blogpost about Waterloo, Belgium, where Napoleon met his "Waterloo"! This interests me because I live not far from Waterloo, Iowa!
*
*
Oh, my.......I'm quitting for the night at #274. Only 103 SkyWatch sites left to go!

Hellooo Iowa! I'm glad you stopped by, and linked me back here. I haven't ever gotten further than about 1/3 of SWF posts, and admire your determination! I usually try to click around randomly each week, and this week I discovered Fugue, too, it's amazing. Loved your silo in the clouds, and your cartoons, too. I miss The ar Side. Do you remember the one about what we say to cats? It was almost the same as the dog one, except the "what they hear" balloon was blank! Too true!

Hi, deborah,

Yes, usually I randomly visit only a few SkyWatch sites, but just decided to hit 'em all this time for the heck of it! Thanks for stopping in.

I too have made the same pledge. But it will be a while.

I have been very sick with pneumonia and my husband is taking his vacation early to help me get over this.

So I won't be able to take a day and do it for at least a few weeks.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a wonderful comment.

And I had no idea what vines they were.

Thank you for that input.

Happy blog hopping:-)

Thank you for sneaking that little BlogBlast For Peace promo in the middle of your post. It's like a subliminal message. I love it!

I've added your link to my sidebar.
See you there! I'm getting sooo excited...

P.S.
Even the cows are blogging for peace....ha!

Well...I had to go and make a post about it. Here 'tis...Breaking News! Even The Cows Are Blogging For Peace!

Hi, Shinade.....I pray you get better soon. Pneumonia is a serious matter, so take good care of yourself.

Hi, Mimi,

I was excited to find your BlogBlast for Peace. I'd not heard of it before, but have been thinking recently that bloggers around the world are in a perfect position to promote peace and friendship at the grassroots level! So good for you for coming up with the Blogblast for Peace idea. When I'm done surfing SkyWatch, I'll hop back over to your site for more info.

Mimi,

Wow! I am so impressed, I have not yet managed to get through the entire skywatch list, the best I can do is a few new ones each week along with my regular favorites, what a great site you have :)

Hi Jeannelle, what a great idea to mention all the blogs you visited. Actually I saw the same blogs! Thanks for your visit to mine. Have a great weekend.

Hi Jeanelle; thank you so much for visiting my SWF and for the link. You are very diligent. I always answer and visit my SW visitors and also try to visit new ones. It is amazing the talents in photography that come together from all over the world a good catalyst for good will among people.
I would never have thought of a two story outhouse; here in Australia called a "dunny"! This picture must top the photos for SWF.

That's a big job you want to accomplish : to travel along all participants, but what a journey ! A cool idea, maybe I'll try it too one day.

Thanks for visiting fromdownhere.com. I always want to visit all the SkyWatch posts, but it's a daunting challenge. They are so lovely!

So, Sarah called you -- did she say "so, let them eat moose?"

Excellent! This is so something I would do, just to say I did it once.
I love Yankee in Belgrade. I have been reading her for two weeks (found her through SkyWatch) and she reminds me of you a bit--with all the history. That's funny to see you recommending her.
This was a great idea and I will (when I have time) look through all your recommendations.

Greetings from Ohio! :)

I was thinking I'd like to try to make it through all of the SWF posts at least ONCE, too. Once winter socks us in here in the snowbelt, it might possible.

I like the way you're highlighting what you've found.

Thank you all so much for stopping in with your kind comments! It has been fun traveling to all these blogs, but I won't try to do this again for awhile, if ever....its just too many! Will try to get to the end of the SkyWatch list tomorrow.

To Virginia: Are you from Iowa? You have relatives in Slater, then?

To Butchy, amp and Snickers: I'm not too far from you! I have a cat named Snickers.

Nice to meet you ! that's funny that you live not far from Waterloo and I never met you, lol ! There are 53 Waterloos in the world ! In the Wellington museum is a map showing them all !

Hi Jeannelle, thank you for your visit. You are working hard, that is too many for me to visit.
I usually get to visit everyone who visits me, my 'regulars', and just a few new ones here and there.
I can't think who of my readers is also from Iowa, over northwest of Cedar Rapids.
My sister lives in Center Point, just north of Cedar Rapids.
I blogged about my sister a little, her birthday was this Wednesday. That was my other blog, JIM'S LITTLE BLOG.
:-)

I cant believe you are trying to do that, it is a big task to get to them all. Wishing you all the best getting there and now you have my head spinning as to how you can keep up with the comments as well.
Have a good Sunday.

It takes time to get around a lot of blogs - I'm exploring all the time - often thought by the time I've looked at just the ones that have commented on mine, I need to take a break from the computer - I tend to comment in about 25% of the ones I visit - more often on promising new ones and very regular old friends.

Hope to see you again.
