One year ago today, on a ridiculously hot, muggy afternoon, this couple was married in West Des Moines. Its my daughter and her hubby, whom we love......though he is a town boy.

Following the ceremony, the wedding party was supposed to be photographed on a scenic bridge at the golf course where the reception was held, but it was too hot for them to even walk out to it. They ended up having a photo shoot on and around this car, making for some really cute, colorful scenes!

One year - gosh - we are 30 next year but I do remember our first!! Every good wish!!!!
What a sweet tidbit. Tell her not to worry - my husband was "city bred" but he's taken quite well to the farm. Well...unless we yell S N A K E and then his high school track days kick in.
