Gorgeous photos and an interesting tip about the west v the east. When we were at the Grand Canyon last year, we waited around to take sunset pictures. We were there well before sunset and were surprised to see lots of people facing the east. Much to our surprise and delight, as the sun set, there were so many layers of colors on the horizon (in the east), it was truly an eye-opening experience.
