Have I ever told you that some cows are very curious about cameras? The proof is there in the above photo.
*
Then again……some cows are of the more cautious persuasion. In the next scene, we have Freckles (on the right, next to the silo) and a friend (who prefers to remain Nameless……so we’ll just refer to her as “Nameless”), discussing the advisability of attempting to sneak past Buster who has plopped down to guard who knows what……some cowpies, perhaps. Freckles is deep in thought, pondering the options offered by this situation. It may appear to be quite a dilemma, but the main denominator is that fresh water and hay beckon from beyond Buster…..
Finally, Freckles makes a daring decision……followed by a bold MOOve. Nameless swallows her fears and follows in Freckles’ audacious footsteps…..er, hoofsteps……
Just think of it……these suspenseful barnyard dramas play out every single day. How often do we take time from our hurrying and scurrying to pay the least bit of attention? Not very often, sad to say. Sniff, sniff…….oh, but don’t sniff too deeply right here in this vicinity……

Have a great day!

Buster seems oblivious to the whole thing....perhaps he is dreaming of a lady friend two farms over....
LOL! Beautiful bovines you have there, ma'am. I didn't realize there was so much drama found on a farm. And I'll reserve my sniffing for home. :)
Nameless is a beautiful cow, said statement not intended to downplay Freckles unusual and attractive markings. You're beautiful, too, Freckles.
Loved your humor this morning. I needed it. Sniff, sniff. ROFL!
Their curiosity make cows difficult to photo and draw in candid poses.
YOUR WEATHER MAP LOOKS LIKE DISASTER! HANG ON TO YOUR SOCKS TODAY! Hope you don't have anything awful to post before tonite! Take care.
Hi, Blue Ridge Gal,
Yeah, Freckles is aptly named, that's for sure. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi, Rhymsie,
That could be.....or else Buster is a great actor and can fool us into thinking he's oblivious to his surroundings. It might be a skill they learn in guard dog school. And, yes....poor Buster could use a girlfriend.....Betsy is a career dog and doesn't pay any romantic attention to him.

Hi, Flea,
Thanks for stopping by. Oh, yes, drama is all around us all the time, that's for sure.

Hi, Pat,
I'll pass your comments on to Nameless....she will be pleased. I hope things are fine in your world....I was in such a mad tizzy of blogging yesterday that I ignored other blogs....I need to rectify that and see what's going on with everyone else.

Hi, Leenie,
You are right about that....cows can be difficult to capture candidly. They are very nosy.
Right now it is gently raining here.....no wind. I hope it stays that way.
