Wasn't Planning To Post, But.....

A pleasant 5th of July to you! Hopefully, your 4th was happy! Mine was very relaxing.....stayed home and read a book after chores were done. I wrote up a blogpost for Monday, too, and its about Sarah Palin, so if you're a serious fan of hers and you can't take a joke, then you'd better skip reading this blog tomorrow.

I wasn't planning to do a post today, but changed my mind after seeing the latest post on the "Indograhams" blog. In case you wonder why I have that blog on my list......its because I absolutely love the photographs that Scotty Graham posts. I don't know him from Adam but his photography is stunning and allows me to experience fascinating places that I know I'll never visit in person. Scotty lives in Indonesia; I stumbled into his blog a few months ago from the SkyWatch Friday site. Currently, he just returned from a trip to Turkey and is posting fascinating photos from that country.

(In case you are new to blog reading......there is a reason I posted two links to Indograhams blog.....the first link goes the home page of the blog and the second link goes just to today's post, "Inside the Aya Sofia". To get to a single post's page from the home page, you click on the blogpost's title on the home page. To get to the home page from a single post's page, you click on the word "Home" underneath the blogpost. I'm including these instructions because I recall it took me awhile to figure these things out when I first started reading blogs. And, there probably are other ways to get to blog pages, but this is how I do it.)

Another photography blog that I enjoy simply because of the wonderful photos is Karen Chappell's blog, Bitstop, from the far Atlantic coast of Newfoundland, Canada. Wow......another beautiful place I can visit from my armchair, recliner, porch chair, sofa, or from my two feet standing at the kitchen counter.....! Its good to get off the farm once in awhile!
*
Ok......I singled out those two particular blogs because they fit in the same category in my mind. Certainly, there must be many more blogs similar to theirs making the rounds in cyberspace, but these are the two that I've happened to latch onto. Take a peek at them if you have time.

Have a blessed Sunday!

H, JC,

Thanks for stopping in. Sometimes I post about farming. Not always. Hard to say what you'll think of the post tomorrow....I had fun writing it, though.

Yes, he certainly is!

Hi, Scotty,

Thanks for swinging by, though I'm a bit embarrassed....my photos look like a kindergartener's work compared to yours. However, I do know when I'm impressed by someone's photo skills, and I certainly am by yours. Keep up the great work!
