Differing Phlox

A PS effect called “difference clouds”, applied to a photo of wild phlox:

Phlox difference clouds Was about to hit the delete button, but then changed my mind.  The blades of grass look like mauve ribbons woven in and out amongst the phlox blossoms.  The original photo looks like this:

I have viewed all of your posts that are presently current and I really have enjoyed your artistic talent. For that is what you have, my friend.

To experiment with all the various methods you use is really innovative and fun. If they are commonly done, I didn't know that. I am impressed.
