Purple Wildflowers

Yesterday, I went for a short drive down a nearby country road and found a couple wildflowers I’d never seen before…..both of the purplish persuasion.

We have the blue vervain here, as shown in your 2nd photo. Both varieties are beautiful -- love those purple flowers! :)

I like anything that has purple in it! If and when I ever plant anything in my yard, it will most likely contain lots of purple!

These are two of my favorite wild flowers. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they are also my favorite color.
