Another photo from early July. These aren’t wildflowers….they came from a variety pack of seeds I scattered a few years ago.
The roadsides and fields are kind of dusty and lackluster right now. Goldenrod are here and there, but they don’t photograph very well. There are clumps of swaying prairie grasses, but they don’t cooperate for a good photo, either. What’s a wildflower-blogging farmwife to do?!

I miss them already and it's only September!
Beautiful shot! Love the fuzzy detail on the stems! Try putting your camera on action mode for those swaying prairie grass shots. You might capture some good ones that way.
