Dogs, Cats, Leaves

Yesterday morning, upon stepping out of the house with my camera, I found:

Lefty eagerly approaching, followed by Buster sporting his “Viking Raider” look…

Oct 4 (2) Unidentified cat contemplating voyage across sea of leaves…

Oct 4 (22) Cat known as Dinky slinking across farmyard (with fall rye growing in background)…

Oct 4 (3) And finally, Miss Kitty, who decided to wink and shake her head at the exact same moment I pressed the camera button!

Oct 4 (6)

I love this little travel log of 4-legged adventurers. I'd wander too if I had all that beauty to wander in.
p.s. Is Kitty a Maine Coon cat?

Thanks for the comment, noni. It led me to google "Maine Coon Cat". Yes, Miss Kitty looks like she could have that ancestry in her.

Your world looks so peaceful with the hay in and the leaves on the ground.

Viking Raider... I've got two of those. One can only imagine what they just pillaged. :)

I love that expression on Miss Kitty. Unfortunate, my 100 pound GSD Baron gives me a similar look when I'm chewing him out for misbehavior. It does seem a little out of place in a dog. :)

love the composition of the third photo, with the textures of the haybales, and the crops in the background...

Kitty in the last photo has such a great expression on her face!
