Yesterday morning I was greeted by this scene:
By early afternoon the snow had disappeared. Amazing how this maple tree is tenaciously holding onto its leaves. Or the leaves are clinging with great determination. Which is it, I wonder?

Snow is a four letter word, you know.
What a pretty shot!
I think those leaves are hanging on just so you could get this lovely shot!
We have snow flurries only in the forecast for tonight. I'm hoping. :)
Oh what a lovely greeting!! Adore it.
We had snow last Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Ended up with 2 inches on Sunday. Melted before noon, but there is still some dusting the mountains around us! Seems early for it!
Is this the same tree your took a picture with the cat some days ago? How lovely. Thanks for the kind comment you left me a while back :)
Yes, it is the same tree.
Very picturesque!
What a lovely scene.. so peaceful, the dusting of snow really makes the yellow maple really pop. I'm your latest Google Friends Connect-or... I like your style and your thoughts.
