Wind

Who has seen the wind?

Neither I nor you:

But when the leaves hang trembling,

The wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind?

Neither you nor I:

But when the trees bow down their heads,

The wind is passing by.

Beautiful poem - great shot!

Unfortunately, we WILL see the wind here in AZ today! Wind advisory and DUST ALERT!! Might have one of those "haboobs". Better batten down the hatches as they say!

This is a really great wind shot. It's not that easy to do.

That was one of my favorite poems as a child. The photo captures the essence of the wind.

Wait, is that a large branch or a main trunk in the background? Did you turn the camera to achieve the illusion of wind on a calm fall day?

It's not nice to fool Mother Nature.

But you sure fooled the rest of us!

Oh, rhymsie, you had to ask a question, didn't you, to make me go to the effort of responding. Actually, I was holding the camera straight---the wind was blowing the leaves into that horizontal position. The tree trunk in the photo is a large branch.
