Obviously, the snow was waiting to fall in a timely manner---on the first day of winter!
I took this photo yesterday morning on my way to the barn. You can see a couple of farm yardlights still aglow in the distance.

This is a lovely farm scene,and the snow makes it perfect.
I'm just a bit south of you. We didn't get any snow. However that snow and cows made a lovely picture for the winter season.
