Wolf Moon

January’s full moon is called the “Wolf Moon”.  It glowed bright in the western sky yesterday morning.

Jan 10 I took the first photo with the 18-55mm lens and then switched to the 55-200mm lens for this next picture:

Jan 10 (13)

I don’t have the right equipment to snare a good close-up moon shot, but it was fun trying!

Beautiful photos. I wonder the January Full Moon is called the Wolf Moon?

My moon shots always come out crummy -- just haven't mastered it yet. I love these -- country living at it's best! :)

Very nice!
«Louis» wanted to get a shot of the full moon last night, but the incoming fog voted otherwise!

These are both beautiful shots! On my way home from work last night I happened to notice the moon hanging low in the eastern sky...It was amazing! Very bright and the man in the moon was visable as well! Made me long for a camera set up that would capture a moon shot at night!
