Hey another Iowan! Great barn shot. Have you noticed the metal roofs on these structures have really dominated the barn population? They probably end up prolonging the life of the barn. Keep up the great work!
I've been blogging since early 2007. I'm sixty-something and live on a farm in Iowa. I have a husband, four grown children, and seven grandchildren. Taking photos is fun and I like the blog because its weed-free, dust-free, and organized.

Good one...love the vines on the silo
Nice old barn! I like the vines and the windmill!
Wow! Look at the vines on the silo!
I like this one a lot!
I'd love to see this when the vines have green leaves!
That's a great barn, but I have to say I like the silo with the dead vines even better.
This is a beauty...the roof looks new.
It stands tall under that lovely sky. The silo is definitely the charm factor here.
Nice find Jeannelle!
I love these old barns and the silo is just the right touch. Looks like a new roof on the barn.
Fantastic old barn! I like the silo and there appears to be a windmill in the background.
This is a great one! I love the grey weathered boards.
Nice find, Jeannelle! Cool barn & silo... Is that a windmill on the other side of the barn?
Thanks so much for joining =)
Those dead vines look like some sort of briar - and probably a little ominous in a moonlit night sky.
Lovely old barn with a stone foundation! Big! The vines on the silo and the silo, of course, add to the charm :)
