Barn Charm

March 2012 (7)

I like the weathered red paint on this old barn.  Recently I saw a house that had been sided with old barn siding similar to what’s in this photo.  It looked pretty cool.

Old barn siding IS cool - - - and now that it is cool it is also expensive unless you have a supply of your own. You know, like "ripping" it off the side of your own barn.

Hehehehe

In fact - - - I'd like just enough of it to have a frame made for a barn picture that my hubby painted for me - - - easier said than done.

That looks like a very tall barn. I do like the red ones best.

Jeannelle...This is a great find. It looks to be really high. That upper window is really up there. Lots of funky little windows and doors and weathered red paint. I love this one. genie

I wonder if they plan to keep the weathered, chipping paint or plan to add a fresh coat... looks great to me, if that's what their house looks like! LoL!

Thanks for joining =)

Love the head-on perspective of this barn photo, Jeannelle. Great shot.

Can you tell me what that tiny opening is for? Just so small...I posted one this last monday that had a tiny door...bigger than the opening on this but still so small I cannot imagine what it is for.

I'd love a house out of wood like this.

No, Rose, I don't know what the little opening is for.
