There’s plenty of farm machinery in action right now in our neighborhood. I’ve been having fun zooming in for a few shots now and then.
Here’s a piece of tillage equipment being pulled down the road:

And, another one:
The next three photos show planters at work. Notice that the row marking arms are folded up and not in use. They are not needed due to the tractors being guided by a newfangled GPS system.
The picture below shows a “high-boy” sprayer. I didn’t apply a paint effect to the photo though it almost looks as if I did. The original shot was blurry due to extreme zooming. I increased the contrast which brought out the colors and added definition to elements in the scene.

Now I know what they call that one in the bottom photo. When I see it coming down the road it always looks like a car could drive right under it. Cool shot!
I always love seeing the farming going on. The size of the equipment up here always amazes me...I come from northeast Tennessee and some of this equipment would not fit down the roads.
I just love seeing all the work going on in the fields right now!
I like them all, especially the last one! What camera are you using, I wonder - not that that has anything to do with such a good eye as yours!
I can see that farming many acres is hard work and requires lots of machines to get the job done. It is nice to have this window onto a life I've only read about. Thanks for your comment on my blog so I could find yours!
You have been outdoing yourself lately with all the great photographs of life on the farm.
Margaret, I used my old reliable Canon Powershot SX100IS which has a 10x zoom.
