We took a road trip on Sunday. Here’s a few drive-by shots from along the way…
A drive-in theater. Its the only one I know of anymore, though I’m sure there are more out there somewhere:
Historical lime kilns which I hope to stop at someday when we’re not in such a hurry:
And, on the way home, a sunset which developed and changed and eventually disappeared:
The reason for our road trip was a happy one---our granddaughter’s 2nd birthday party. The cakes were shaped like puzzle pieces and came complete with sugar butterflies.

Nice shots. We have a drive-in theater in our town that is still being used. Many people will be traveling by and see the theater, stop and stay the night just to watch a movie. I've thought many times to post about it but just never have gotten around to it.
I love that sunset scene. The cake looks pretty special, too.
I enjoy seeing other parts of the World through the lens :) Happy times kept forever that way :)
Oh, and drive in theatres, my kids love them!
