Early this morning I had a reason to be out driving around. I took the camera along…just in case I encountered a photo opportunity. I wouldn’t want to be caught without a camera in a situation like that!
I was heading east on this gravel road:
Above is the photo as it came out of the camera. The scene looks darker than it actually was so I lightened it up a bit in Photoshop Elements:
Probably if I knew how to use manual camera settings, I could have captured the scene more accurately in the first place.

Love the "down the road" photos. Since I started blogging, my camera is always with me, too!
Love those country roads and I always lug my camera. As soon as I don't I see something.
Great picture and your edits certainly make the picture better.
Nice use of photoshop to bring those details out. I did so also with a photo of a flying B-29 that I posted on my blog today. It was nearly black against a white sky in the original image but an online photo editor brought the colors and other details to life.
