Barn Charm

This drive-by shot was taken last week and at the time I held out little hope that it would be usable due to the fact that I had aimed and zoomed very hastily.  It turned out that all this photo needed was for part of another building to be cropped off the left side and a few distracting cornstalks to be removed from the bottom edge.  They drew my gaze away from the main subject.

Thanks for stopping by!

This looks to be a really huge barn. I like the old silo.
Turned out to be a great drive-by!
It takes me a long time to delete photos because of the possibilities.

Nice drive-by - I am just not fast enough to catch anything worth showing. I like the weather-warn paint on it.

Great drive by shot! I love the shadow of the trees on the roof and the little crooked door in the upper area.

Great photo for a driveby. I like how the red paint fades away on the barn siding.

Pretty impressive! Those drive by shots sometimes surprise me with how well they turn out.

Sometimes our drive-by shots turn out much better than we anticipate. This is sweet.

I love red barns. my question is... where is that ladder going up the side of the silo? Do people have to climb up it?

Jeannelle said...

W. Latane Barton, yes, sometimes the farmer has to climb the silo to repair the silage unloader which is up there.
