Mountain Scenery

In the summer of 2005 my son was working a college internship in Colorado. Some of us other family members couldn't pass up the opportunity to go visit him and enjoy the mountain scenery.  This photo was taken looking west from south of Boulder:

Here's a drive-by shot taken from Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park:

And, a little further down the road, Longs Peak could be seen in the distance:

Have been to Colorado and it's wide open spaces compared to Iowa.. I love the mountains and the wildflowers that bloom there. We have been to Estes Park and have driven over the mountain to the other side.. IT's all so glorious.. Everyone should go to Colorado at least one time.. Just to see the mountains and see all the beauty it has to offer.
Have a great day~! ta ta for now from Iowa:)
