hubby and I were floored by it we have never seen a red mantis! I showed it to him this morning!

aw, jeannelle, you are sweet to link to me. sry about the tyoping. praying mantis' take on the color of their environment. i had just watered the impatiens and saw her in the pot. as i was taking pictures of me, she hear the camera and actually turned her head towards the sound! i think she's beautiful! thanks.

Your praying mantis photo is absolutely amazingly fantastic, in my opinion! I think you could sell it to DISCOVER magazine or Nat'l Geographic or something.
