This might be Martin Luther.......but, I'm not for sure about that.
I think this next window is unusual and quite beautiful, with the brownish leafy background design. The flower-like designs are perhaps not flowers. Does anyone know what they are meant to depict? A symbol of the Trinity, perhaps? One of them is turned sideways.......then it looks more like a flower, so maybe that's what it is.

Back to the subject of Canada........I've been there only once, and that was while floating on Basswood Lake in northern Minnesota many years ago. I was with my parents and siblings in a small motorboat; we were fishing for small-mouth bass, wall-eyed pike, and northern pike. According to the map we were using, our lake meanderings took us into Canada at one point! We were very excited about that!

Even though one person's blog is minute, insignificant, and trivial when compared to all that's going on the world, I'd like to dedicate this blog to Peace........throughout this troubled world. Just as SkyWatchFriday and other blogging endeavors originate from all over the globe.........may peace quietly crisscross the world, too!
"Pray for peace, people everywhere"........remember that line from the Christmas song,

God Bless Canada......God bless the U.S.......God bless the whole Earth with PEACE!!

Peace would be wonderful. Peace within myself would be good as well.
Beautiful windows, as always, Jeannelle.
Now THAT'S the Jeannelle whose blog I like to read!
I beat you. I've been to Canada twice. Once, at Niagara Falls, where we drove down the Canadian side of the river to Buffalo, And once we drove north into British Columbia from Bellingham, Washington, and took the ferry at Tiawassen over to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. And a third time I only caught a glimpse of it -- Windsor, Ontario, from across the river in downtown Detroit, Michigan, and yearned to cross the border again. But someone else was driving.
The windows are the perfect Sunday post. I don't know anything about the "flowers."
Another beautiful window post. I love the lilies! They are delicate and yet bold all at the same time..............Here's to Peace......May it encircle the globe and embrace us all.
Have a peaceful Sunday.
I second that! and beautiful stained glass. Thank you!
Yep PEACE to all!
Love the stain glass its wonderful!
As usual the windows are beautiful. Happy peaceful Sunday and happy Thanksgiving to Canada.
I am sorry I did not make it here yesterday. Thanks for the greetings there Jeannelle. Yes.pray for Peace. Pray for civility and reason, pray for a belief in the future, and hope for our children. Amen!
Nice post, J. Beautiful stained glass windows. The "flowers" are representations of Passion Flowers. I'm sure Google has information on the symbolism (three nails, crown of thorns, etc.) However, I don't know why there are seven of them in the window; I can't discern a pattern, and I don't know enough about symbolism to figure it out.
I've been to Canada only twice, 1969 to Toronto and environs and 1985 to Montreal and Quebec City. Beautiful country, and nice people for the most part.
country girl, rhymsie, deserthen, adventure girl, laura, egghead, trish...
Thank you for visiting and for your thoughtful and kind comments! Yes, I agree.....pray for civility and reason to prevail.
Pat,
Thank you so much for that information about the "passion flower". I'd not heard of that before, and it explains the window. I think I'll add a link to the post about it. Thanks!
Thanks for your well wishes on our Canadian Thanksgiving!
You really need to come for a proper visit sometime, Jeannelle. There's much to see & we are actually quite hospitable up here. Since I live right near the Canada/US border...I visit your fine country quite regularly...mostly to shop and to vacation.
May our countries continue to be good neighbours!
