These shots were taken last fall in our church cemetery, which is bordered by a cornfield.

Lovely silhouettes! Very nice.
So perfect for Easter...I really like the first one with the gray and the black of the crosses...very symbolic.
It is a place we will all end up at but in different locations. Interesting post. My skywatch photo is on my Brookville Daily Photo blog.
Very timely subject. Perfect for this weekend.
The top shot is very powerful and haunting. Very nicley done.
I love these...they are so appropriate for the Easter season...
Beautiful photos....the first is very striking...good Easter shots...
Stunning sky pictures! My favorites are the altered version and the black and white one.
i like your post...and so appropriate for the upcoming weekend and tomorrow being good friday. the first reminds me of the crosses on the hill.
thanks for sharing.
These are lovely and perfect for Holy Week.
Photos that can make you think. Thanks. I also followed your "enjoy other posts" links to the series by Freckles the Cow. I thought I owed it to you to follow a continuing story after I have dragged my thesis out to five posts. I was MOOved. I love Holsteins. They paid my college tuition and provided food and income for our family growing up.
Greetings....Guy, Amy, Alicia, Abe, EG Tour Guide, Babooshka, Deb, Carol, Diane, Erin, Ruth, Leenie,
Thank you all for stopping in and for your kind words! Have a meaningful Good Friday and Easter weekend.
(Leenie....you give those Holsteins too much credit! They will get big heads....even bigger than they already have!)
A wonderful subject for Easter.
I could not get the first two photos, but the third was very topical.
These remind me of some photos I took on my honeymoon in Ireland. It was the same atmosphere - grey skies and the Celtic crosses against a moody backdrop. Great!
