Cuberdons

F.Y.I.: This is a quick addendum to the previous post which mentioned the cone-shaped candy included in the box of gifts kindly sent to me by Regis of Waterloo, Belgium. By email this morning, Regis informed me that these candies are called "Cuberdons", and he sent the link. Cuberdons are a favorite sweet treat in Belgium, but I had certainly never heard of them before! (The photo above came from here.) Thank you for the information, Regis!

Do they taste good?

They kinda look like gumdrops. So...I'm with the others...what do they taste like? Liked the English translation on the web site.

Hi, Oz Girl, Gail, Leenie,

Yes, they are very good! Sorry, I didn't even think to mention that in the post. The ones Regis sent look just like the ones in this photo. The outer shell is a solid gummy texture and inside is a raspberry-flavored soft gel. Very sweet, and unlike any candy I know of, though you are correct in saying it is somewhat similar to a gumdrop.

Thanks for sharing this info - it is always nice to learn something new. You never know when you might end up on a game show or something.... LOL
