SkyWatch - Brushstrokes

27th029 Welcome to SkyWatch Friday! These sky scenes resemble brushstrokes of a painting, at least to me, anyway.

27th027 They were taken on an evening earlier this week. At times, September treats us to exceptionally beautiful skies, especially at sunset time.

And, in case you’re in doubt, here’s proof that it was the sunset hour:

Having migrated throughout life from rural to urban several times, I find myself deeply drinking form your thoughts about farming and farm life. I also know firsthand how challenging it is.Keep writing!

I can see the brushstrokes too! What lovely reds you get at sun set. Just makes me want to stare at those pictures and zone out.

how very beautiful. I too saw a wonderful sky last night on the way out to dinner with the hubby and son. It was if some crazy velvet paining artist was trying to outdo themselves in the sky. Can't beat nature though....lovely!

Omigoodness. They remind me of a Thomas Moran. Beautiful.

You have yourself some beautiful Iowa skies there.

You capture a sky in photograph like no other - you need to make a coffee table book of this fantastic art. i've tried doing this many times but it is much harder than you make it look.
