Welcome to this SkyWatch blogpost! These photos were taken this morning. Autumn is in the air, obviously, though the green pasture field below could mislead one into believing summer is still here.
I’m sneaking the next photo in, too, despite the blurry sky. Soon the cornstalks will be swallowed up by dusty, roaring combines chomping their way across the landscape.
Please make your way over to Skyley.blogspot.com to find the complete list of beautiful SkyWatch posts for this week. As always, many thanks to the SW team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, Louise, and Sylvia.

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a great week!

Thanks for the great pictures, they remind me of growing up Central Illinois.
Beautiful photos! Happy SWF :)
Oh the vast skies and marching clouds of the plains! I enjoyed looking at your photos.

Beautiful, love all the cotten candy
I really like the 3rd photo with the blurry sky.

Your photos are really wonderful.
The 3rd picture, with the corn stalks, is so appropriate for this time of year. It's a beautiful shot. Dairymary
Gorgeous BIG sky you grow out there! Autumn and blue sky go together well. Nice captures.
Happy weekend!
Skies full of promise.
I enjoy your pictures but I also would like to hear about your life on the farm more. I love to go up Door county way and see the farmers harvest their corn and other crops. I stop and watch.
I love the contrast of colors - the green pasture field against the blue sky filled with white clouds.
Your pics are amazing as usual. It's good to see blue skies after 10 straight days of rain here in the Ozarks hills and hollers.
Have a wonderfully blessed day full of blue skies and sunshine!!!
The "dusty roaring" combines have been busy here this week. Grain trucks flying up and down the road. The sound of the grain dryers running at night. And, based on my sneezing, soybean dust in the air. I love to see the busyness of harvest season. And, always a surprise as the landscape literally changes overnight.
Beautiful photos, as always!
Today has been lovely, compared to the last few days. We received 3 inches of rain Thursday and Friday. Not good for the farmers.
I'm having a pretty scarf giveaway so come see it and leave a comment if you would like it to be yours! :-))
