Prairie phlox are now in bloom along the roadside near our farm. Their curled edges attest to the chilly weather we’ve experienced lately.

I see you are still blogging, Jeannelle. I enjoyed scrolling down seeing what's blooming your way. What state are you in? I'm in Nebraska. I live in a city on a corner lot.
I love that phlox! If it's pilosa, I have a few little plants I bought at a spring plant sale. Rabbits ate all but one to the ground, but I put some mesh around a couple of them, and they are putting on new growth. I don't think I'll get any blooms this year.
