Crop Report

As of last evening, our cornfields look quite good despite the dry weather:

May 22 (8) The soil here and there on our farm is light and sandy and dries out quickly:

Rows of soybeans have emerged from the former rye field:

May 22 (9) The bean plants are a couple inches tall right now and hoping for rain soon.

Hubby and his friend are madly ploughing the fields in the hopes of getting a few diffrent grains in to grow feed for our livestock. I must get him to take images of it all and then I can post it on my blog. I love seeing how your crops are growing. We hope for rain here too, it is nearing Winter here in Australia and yet, we have not had much rain at the farm.
