I love the sight of a shimmering cornfield. This photo was taken around noon today. We got an inch of rain last night---just what the crops needed.

So happy for you. It was mighty dry (and hot) in your corner over the weekend. Now I must find out if my brother got the rain as well, in his area.

There's a pond over there. That area is not part of our farm, though I wish it was.
