Barn Charm

I found this limestone barn last week.  It even has a cow on the weathervane!
June 27, 2012 (1)# Sorry about the electric wires.  I should have taken more time to get a better photo, but there was no traffic on the highway right then, so I aimed, shot, and made a fast getaway before anyone came along and saw me.  I need to get over being nervous about taking pictures.
Visit Bluff Area Daily to find this week’s Barn Charm.

The shot is great. I also don't like being seen taking pictures.

An excellent barn! Your part of the country seems to have a nice variety of rustic buildings. I still have the painting I did of barn with the blue roof that you posted. It hangs in my living room.

Beautiful barn. I like the small window on the roof and the cupola pretty neat.

The barn is fantastic & I love all the sliding barn doors... I don't blame you for being nervous about shooting these old barns, so people don't like it, but I think most are flattered
Thank you for joining =)

This is a huge barn! I really like it and the vine growing on it too.
I do the shoot and run technique too!

Wow, that's one big barn!

The vines look like splattered paint almost. :)
Love the barn and the fact that it's stone.
I'm still shy about being in public with a camera too. Not sure that will ever go away. :)

such a huge barn. is that ivy or just poison ivy? but it sure does give the barn character. (:

I'm sure its not poison ivy.

Where I live it's very difficult to avoid overhead wires - even out in the country. I'm a little shy about taking pictures also but I've had people stop and question me, people get in a vehicle and follow me, so I'm a bit hesitant sometimes.

Beautiful barn! If there's someone in the barnyard I'm very cautious about taking photos, but I don't worry so much about people driving by. Maybe it's because most of the barns I photograph are far from home, so I don't care if people think I'm a weird old lady....

I have been taking photos for years and still get nervous...hate to take photos when someone is watching me.
