We Got Some Rain!

I woke up to loud claps of thunder during the night and by morning a light rain was still falling.  We received a half inch or so. 

Hopefully, that much-needed rainfall will help this coneflower to uncurl.  Lately, despite evening waterings with the hose, many flowers and garden plants have been curled or wilted by mid-afternoon when the sun is high and hot.
