Weekly Top Shot

I went on a photo hunt this afternoon and found evidence of autumn’s approach.  I particularly liked this picture of a Cottonwood tree.  The breeze through its leaves sounded so nice, too.  Cottonwoods are known for that.

Yes, I've noticed the approach of fall too... I love when the wind rustles the fallen leaves and they skitter along the ground... Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #45!

Hey that's what I did yesterday - photographing early fall leaves. I was going to post a similar story today but the news of Neil Armstrong came along. I had to react to that one.

There are quite a few cottonwood tress along Cherry Creek in Denver, Colorado. I've always admired them on my visits to that city. No signs of fll her ein NYC-- it is still warm and humid. We are hoping we don't get after effects from the hurricane.
