Your Sunday Best

I almost deemed this photo unusable because it was shot into the sunlight and the shadows were very dark.  Then before hitting the delete button I decided to dink around with it in Picture It  and was happy with the results.  I could also then identify the bird as a Song Sparrow.

I recently set up a photo file for those photos which don't go into the "best of the best" file but I just can't bear to 'delete'.....this is the file I go to when I want to experiment with my editing software...and it is amazing what wonderful art is created out of a photo that at one point in time we would not have given a chance. Lovely edit.

I like it! Same thing happened with my antelope photo and I almost deleted it until I played around with it a bit.

This is a great shot. I'm so glad you decided to play with it instead of deleting it.

It's how you saw it at the moment, which makes it a unique capture Jeannelle. Thanks so much for sharing at Your Sunday Best this week. xo

I like the final shot; it could easily be the design for a nice English stoneware mug!
