Two doors diverged by a silo's shadow;
Correctly, one door I must choose.
All the difference my choice could make;
Its a chance I hope not to lose.

(I took this photo yesterday morning, and later in the day read rhymeswithplague's blogpost about
"The Road Not Taken", and somehow it all seemed to fit together, however oddly.)

Or, this photo also reminds me of that old Sunday School song.......
One door and only one,
And yet its sides are two.
I'm on the inside;
On which side are you?
In this case, of course, it would be.......I'm on the light (or dark) side; On which side are you?
****
Choose the BRIGHT side today!!

Nice photo, Jeannelle! Very artistic, too. I'm going to choose the sunny side today.
Why do I hear Darth Vader saying, "Jeannelle, come with me to the dark side"?
Super photo, Miss J. You had "the eye" when you captured this.
I like your poem, too.
Making the picture black & white made all the difference. I don't think it would have worked in color. You've got an artistic instinct/talent that some of us out here only dream about. Another beauty.
Hi, country girl,
Good for you to choose sunny....hope you've had a great day!

Hi, Ruth,
Good one! Sometimes the darkness is necessary, illuminating in its own way.

sempringham,
Thanks for the kind words, but I don't think its talent. Just lucky chance that I was searching behind the barn for my husband and happened to notice the silo's shadow hitting at the center of the shed's doors. I ran to the house for the camera, hoping a cloud wouldn't come along to erase the scene. Then later.....there was rhymsie's post about "The Road Not Taken". Cool.....I think we're all strangely connected.
My goodness excellent photography and poetry too. Jeannelle, you are becoming a phenom!
I love when there's a photo AND a quotation/poem/verbage that work well together, AND I stumble upon them at the same time. What a win - yours is a beautiful post.
Hi, Sherry,
Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words.

Hi,reluctantfarmchik,
Thanks for your visit and kind words, too!! Rhymeswithplague is responsible for this post coming into existence.
Now I'm responsible for my posts and yours too? It's a burden, but I will bear it....
You are an incredible photographer - I am constantly amazed and am absolutely priviledged to have the opportunity of seeing them!!
What a lovely post - photo, poem, thoughts - just eveything about it!
rhymsie,
Honestly.....I might have posted the photo, but I never would have thought to connect it to "The Road Not Taken" if it hadn't been for you. Thanks for being willing to bur the bearden....

Hi, odd chick,
Thanks for the kind words, but what's truly incredible to me is someone like you who can PAINT lovely pictures! Unfortunately, I've never been able to get my hands to function artistically.....like painting.....or playing piano---I try---but, am just so clumsy.

Tsannie,
Thank you for dropping by and for the kind words !
What a great photo!!
I would totally choose the door that is dark, for the light would shine in!
