Ice of the Morning

Yesterday's rain + Last night's snow =
If you click to enlarge this next photo, maybe you will see the ice sparkling in the morning sun:
A happy fellow for sure:
One of the farm's more aesthetically-pleasing sights.......the manure auger:
A weed decked out in an ice coat:
Another sight on the farm.......but, hey, I'll bet most of you have one or more of these around your home, too. Do you know what it is?
Can you find the hidden Izzy-Dog in this final photo?

Wowser! Looks like some of the ice storms that we get in Arkansas. That first photo is gorgeous!Ice is beautiful, but treacherous.

Bedsprings?? Just a guess on that one.

Stay warm and off the slippery slopes!

Ice, ice, ice! I found the dog. I believe that may be an old bed spring. We pull ours through the pasture to spread the manure, wonderful farm tool.

I see the morning sun glinting off the ice, Jeannelle! And the Izzy dog is in the reflection. That looks like coil springs in the inside of an old mattress. You have so much snow already! And your blog looks very festive.

Ah....I love the Izzy Dog. Hmm...like my Radar....Radar prefers to sit in the car and WATCH me shovel and 'de-ice' the driveway. Wonderful shots...especially the first one. Beautiful

These are wonderful photos of the snow. Thank you for sharing. We had a totally unseasonable warm up yesterday in Ohio and I am missing the snow. SEND SOME MY WAY dear Garden Friend!

Hi, you all!

Yes, you're correct about bedsprings, of course. And, that is Izzy's head in the vehicle as they were getting ready to leave.

Welcome, Bren.....I would surely send you some snow if I could figure out how to do that!
