Have you considered doing the same thing with your farm? Pictures from the same vantage point in all kinds of weather and seasons. In daytime and at night, with light in the windows. As the kids move away, I'll bet they'd love to have prints of the place they grew up.
I've been blogging since early 2007. I'm sixty-something and live on a farm in Iowa. I have a husband, four grown children, and seven grandchildren. Taking photos is fun and I like the blog because its weed-free, dust-free, and organized.

Big difference. I was very cold in the first but the second reminds me there is always hope of spring.
You should complete this by snapping the same scene in the spring and summer. Then re-post.
What a difference! The winter scene almost looks like there was a fire.
Ditto 42N.
