Skip A Post

Skipping a post was the plan for today, but then the sunrise this morning caught my eye. This photo is blurry because the zoom is on all the way, but you get the idea. It was a cool sight!

"Skip a post" made me think of the song, "Skip A Rope". Remember that one?

Here's the original pointless post I had put together last night......with photos taken last evening during chores. I was running back and forth, here and there, in between feeding calves. Couldn't stay focused.......kept trying to find things to photograph. Its an illness, that's for sure.

Lastly…….”What is this?”

C’mon…….take a guess!

Be sure to have a pleasant day, too!

Great sunrise picture! Last night's sunset was beautiful here, but I was driving and couldn't get a picture of it. I think that last picture is an old dried up grape vine.

I think it is a wire from a chain link fence that is loose.

Beautiful sunrise!

The tip end of a new vine?

First, let me say, I love the "pointless" pictures and the sunrise.
The UO could be a horse hair snake dancing to the music in the barn or more likely it is a tendril from some vining plant looking for a place to climb...grape, briar.

Love the photos! I think it's a grapevine tendril :)

for skipping a post you certainly provided lots of interest today!

Oh Jeannelle, your pictures never cease to make me smile and brighten my day.Given the increasing gloominess coming on and all the rain predicted, that is welcome indeed.!

Hi, Nancy,

You deserve a double prize....for correctly identifying the grapevine tendrils and for commenting almost immediately after this post was published. Amazing!

Hi, troutay,

Good guess, but not quite right. Thanks for your kind words!

Hi, rhymsie,

I would say you are correct, too, though you didn't specify "grape"vine. That's OK....this game will be like horseshoes....close will count.

********

Hi, Gail,

Aw....thanks for the kind words. And, whoa...a snake hair?! But, you then correctly guessed the vining plant, too.

********

Hi, Joy,

You are correct, too! What a bunch of smart readers....I am impressed!

********

Hi, Deb,

Thank you for those good word, too. Do you ever get a post ready and then decide it is sort of dumb...that's how I felt last night.

Hi, Sherry,

Thanks for stopping in. I'm happy you're back online now after your week of computer frustrations. We could use a little rain to clean things up, but we don't need much.

Beautiful sunrise photo! And the photo of the pine cones really stands out. I thought the last photo was some sort of vine as well. Happy First Day of Spring to you...=)

That sun! A fireball in the sky. Great shot!
Is it a thread off your jacket?

Hi, Deserthen,

Another correct answerer! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi, Poetikat,

Yeah, that lucky 'ol sun looked super cool this morning. And, good guess, there, with the coat string.....but, no it is not.

That's my problem: I don't read the earlier comments before jumping in with my 2 cents! Grapevine tendril. Of course!

I'm guessing plant tendril on that last photo... love the sunset photo, and I think the blurry part actually adds some charm to the photo. Makes it look like a hot, sweltering night. I also love your b&w of the corn stalk. (whoops, just read the previous comments and I see the answer for the last photo has already been given.. guess I'm a day late and a dollar short!)
